Located 30 km from the Gündoğmuş district of Antalya, in the village of Cündere, the waterfall is known locally as Gündoğmuş and Cündere Waterfall. To visit, you can join day tours organized from Antalya and Manavgat, drive with your own vehicle, or take minibuses to Gündoğmuş and then hitchhike to the waterfall. The challenges along the way will be forgotten once you see the view. The waterfall became very popular after the pandemic and the widespread use of social media. If you are vacationing at Belconti Resort Hotel during the spring months, you can join a tour from Serik through your agency or with one of the weekend Antalya day tours.
The roads to the waterfall are steep and winding, making the journey longer, but there are incredibly beautiful landscapes along the way. Once you reach Cündere village, don't forget to taste the gözleme (a traditional Turkish pastry) made by the locals. The waterfall is a rare natural wonder in our country, formed by the waters flowing through the rocks at the base of Geyik Mountain, on the summit of the Taurus Mountains. The most beautiful visuals are seen in the spring season. The water flowing from here feeds the Alara stream, which is used for rafting in the Alanya region. The magnificent view of the waterfall, with its foamy waters flowing from different points, is incredibly relaxing. You won’t want to leave this beautiful sight. After visiting the waterfall, you can swim in the cool waters, take a stroll along the stream, and most importantly, you can make your loved ones jealous with the photos you take.
