The waterfall, located within the borders of Serik district in Antalya, can be reached by following the road to Akbaş Pond and then walking 200 meters upwards along the creek bed.
The waterfall, which is not well-known to many, was formed by the water from Etler Waterfall flowing over the limestone rocks. Due to its white appearance, which resembles a wedding dress, it is referred to as "Gelin Waterfall" (Bride Waterfall) by locals. Although walking along the creek bed may be a bit challenging, the stunning view is truly mesmerizing.
When walking along the creek bed, it's advisable to wear non-slip shoes and carry a walking stick or baton for stability. In addition to the fresh air and the incredible natural beauty of the region, we also recommend paying attention to wildlife (such as snakes and wild boars). In the area, you can find aromatic plants like laurel, stream tea, spurge, and mountain thyme. Gelin Waterfall is a popular destination for travelers, nature enthusiasts, and especially social media influencers. The period between February and April is the ideal time to take beautiful photos.
After visiting Gelin Waterfall, we highly recommend stopping by Akbaş Pond. This pond was originally built for irrigation and to protect the pine forests in the area. It is also the place from where fire trucks and helicopters collect water in case of fire emergencies. There are places around the pond for relaxation and picnicking. If you're lucky, you can capture beautiful photos of the reflection of the mountains on the water.
If you have time while visiting this area, you can also explore Gök Büvet Waterfall and Zeytin Taşı Cave. These natural beauties are located 16 km from Belconti Resort Hotel.
Guests wishing to explore these beauties can rent a car or join one of the weekend trekking groups departing from Antalya.
