The Aspendeos Theatre

Aspendos, located 17 km from Belek, is the richest of the cities of Pamphylia and attracts people with its magnificent views. Aspendos is famous for having the best-preserved Roman theater not only in Anatolia but throughout the Mediterranean world. Aspendos owes its development and connection to the Mediterranean to the nearby river and the fertile lands around it. Today, tourists primarily visit the theater and the aqueducts. The ruins of other buildings in the city are located on the flat area where the theater stands. Aspendos is one of the finest examples of Roman theaters that still exist today. This structure, dedicated to the gods and the emperors of the era, showcases the final stages of Roman theater architecture and construction techniques.

Guests staying at Belconti Resort can visit the Aspendos Theater by joining tours or renting a car. There is no regular public transportation available.
