The Kurşunlu Waterfall

Kurşunlu Waterfall is located 24 km from Antalya on the Antalya-Isparta highway. To reach it, you turn left and continue for 7 more kilometers. The waterfall cascades down from a height of 18 meters, creating several smaller waterfalls that are connected by 7 small ponds. The waterfall is situated in a 2-kilometer-long canyon, which was turned into a park in 1986 and opened to visitors. The waterfall and picnic area cover an area of 33 hectares.

Due to its unique natural landscape and the rich plant community that blends with interesting water and rock formations, Kurşunlu Waterfall is a rare natural feature. In 1991, a 586-hectare section of this area was designated as a nature park.

In this area dominated by red pine, you can find individual trees or small groups of eastern plane trees, laurel, carob, wild olive, mastic trees, willows, and fig trees. Mersin, hawthorn, oleander, blackberry, wild rose, spurge, iğlin, fir, kermes oak, thyme, wild mint, and ferns form the underbrush. Aquatic plants include water lilies, reeds, water mint, and algae.

The fauna of the nature park consists of wild boars, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, bats, hoopoes, woodpeckers, doves, carps, water turtles, dogs, snakes, and lizards.

Here, you can walk, take photos of the waterfall, have a picnic, and enjoy nature. To get there from Belek, you can take a bus to Aksu, then transfer to a minibus that will take you to the Kurşunlu Waterfall. The buses from Belek depart every 20 minutes.
